SELIA

A fictional pop artist, written and composed by people.

Short bio

SELIA is a fictional pop artist from Halfway Home Studio. She sings in English, with a little Caribbean Spanish where it matters, about the small things that turn out to be the big ones. People write her songs and her story; her voice is shaped with digital tools and her image is digitally made; a human producer finishes every track. Her debut single, Sunday Face, is out 15 January 2027.

Longer bio

SELIA laughs first, lets you pick the restaurant, and remembers your sister's name. On Sundays she doesn't. She's the friend who answers in voice notes and keeps her coat on until she decides she's staying.

Her songs are the things she doesn't say at the table. Sunday Face, her first single, is about the one day she stops holding the smile. Right now she's travelling, and writing to her fans from wherever she is in the Sunday Club, a monthly letter in her voice.

SELIA is open about what she is. Halfway Home Studio writes every word and directs every song; her voice is shaped with digital tools and her image digitally made; a human producer mixes and masters the result. How SELIA is made explains it step by step.
